Mini Fan
There are a lot of very tiny mini fans available if you are shopping around for one. Many of them are plug ins, and there is about the same number of them that are battery operated. Some of the smaller mini fans will require only two “AA” batteries for instance. Uses for a mini fan are myriad, for instance they come in handy when you are at various sporting events, at the beach, hunting, hiking, or camping. Many of them come with a soft pliable blades too, so that if the unit tips over or you accidentally get it too near to any parts of your body such as fingers, noses, ears etc. you will not receive any damage, much less lacerations.
Chances are that if you purchase one of these very low priced battery powered mini fans, you will find that they actually put out a very decently strong airflow considering its tiny size. If you purchase the type that has blades that fold back for travel or purse, you may hold the blades closed by the use of a rubber band though to avoid accidental blade breakage.
There is another kind of mini fan available that actually draws smiles from those who see it. It actually has a base to it, and it too is equipped with soft flexible blades. The difference though is that it can sit on a table, has three adjustable positions and runs on three AAA batteries. One of its more luxurious features is that it does have a detachable neck cord for personal use.
Yet another mini fan is equipped to give you a very fine spray of water in order to keep you cool. It too runs on batteries, and of course these are small enough to be held by one hand. One can easily add ice too, so that the mist that comes out of the fan is extremely cool. Science has proven that water vapor evaporates in the heat, and thus cools the person using it quite well with a fine evaporative mist. Should the heat be a very dry heat, then this kind of fan also provides humidity so that the person can cool off.
There are also mini fans that plug in, that are extremely tiny, some as small as 14 inches high. They work as a tower fan, and even though they are practically miniatures, they put out a tremendous amount of air due to their construction. These come with multiple speeds, in order to select the right amount of directed air. It also features an oscillator button, enabling wider air circulation. These are constructed with high impact plastic and only come in a gray color. These tend to be more expensive though than the above mini fans.
Finally, still considered a mini fan there is a very thin mini electric tower that has 3 fan speeds, 3 wind modes, an auto-off timer that is programmable for up to 12 hours, an option for an ionizer, works from a remote control, yet it will take up only a square foot of space!
